William is fairly tall, hovering at about 6'2" or so, but never quite appearing it because of his rather warm personality. It's obvious to anyone who looks at him that he doesn't spend his days lazing away, as his sun-kissed skin covers hard muscle. He's about 214lbs altogether, and not an ounce of it is fat. With soft hazel eyes and hair light enough that it could have been blonde at one point, he's not too bad on the eyes. On a general basis, this is a man well-dressed in designer suits, however it isn't uncommon to see him kick back in a pair of jeans and a t-shirt.

[app]Overall Personality:[/app]
William is everything he shouldn't be. He is kind and gentle, yet the image of a rich businessman that most people think of is something cold and cruel. He spends time sitting in mud with kids for no reason other than the smiles it brings and actually enjoys it. That doesn't mean he's a pushover - although in certain situations he can be. Just as he is capable of unending patience and a willingness to throw himself in dangerous situations for the safety of others, he is also dangerous.
While he has a slow kindling temper, when it does fire up, it's positively scary. Add to that the thoroughness with which he does everything and he is a force to be reckoned with. He can't really be called passive, but he certainly comes across that way to any who don't know him all that well. He isn't afraid to speak his mind, even if his opinion opposes the popular one.

[app]Overall History:[/app]
Born to Texas housewife and her ridiculously wealthy Boston husband, William's was a life spent between two states. While Farah and Philip loved each other dearly and made quite a racket when alone in a bedroom together, they had long ago come to the conclusion that they would be happier in their marriage if they didn't actually live together. So Farah maintained a suburban house down in Texas, just outside of Houston while Philip mad the big bucks up in Boston. Which worked out well for them. When William came along, it was decided that he would live with Farah and Philip would visit in the early years. By the time he was enrolled in school, the old system had been modified and limited only to the school year, during the summer he was sent to live with his father.
His sister came along a good eight years after he did and they didn't actually spend a lot of time together during her first few years. It was until she was old enough to reason with him that they started to bond and by then she was in school herself and had joined him on his yearly trips to Boston. It was a system that worked well for the entire family. Lavish vacations and expensive birthday parties were everything William knew.
And yet, he didn't become spoiled. Not out of some innate goodness, but because his parents instilled some level-headedness in their children. They birthday parties weren't lavish just because, the kids had to earn those, just as they had to earn the vacations. In fact, Philip refused to buy William his first car, making him get a job and save up to buy something shitty. It wasn't until he turned twenty that Philip was willing to plop down any money on a car and that was only because Will's had died. Even then, he got a gently used car.
Farah cleaned her own house, even Philip didn't hire maids for his home in Boston. Well-to-do or not, the family lived just as any other middle-class family might. Perhaps their things were a little nicer, but they didn't buy just to have, they bought because they needed. William learned his love for gardening form his mother and inherited his desire to help those who couldn't help themselves from his father (a lawyer).
When William did get out on his own, he started with the entertainment business and worked his way up into one of the biggest names in Hollywood. And then, abruptly, retired after a mere ten years. Now a multi-billionaire, he runs all sorts of non-profit charities, and is still rolling in money due to all the royalties of the movies and shows he produced or wrote.

“Ride ‘em bronco?” She tried to place the terms in her mind and her eyes widened. “The wild ones! The ones-they buck and try to kill people! You rode those? Did you have a death wish?” She was at once alarmed by the imaginary image of him bleeding and broken in the dirty and relieved that that would never happen now. “It’s gotta be hard, not being able to do what you love.” She could see it in the way he described the big animals.
Flushing, Dallas raised her chin rather than drop her gaze. “Not sure if its too soon. Might be. I only just decided to throw caution to the wind. But…if it’s what you want, I’ll see what I can arrange.” She was going to get herself killed, she knew it, especially since she was letting herself be lulled into a false sense of safety. Or, at least, that’s what she told herself. He hadn’t once attacked her with harmful intent and she wasn’t sure what to think of that.
Her hand trembled against his, but she wasn’t sure why and didn’t want to investigate. “Wouldn’t want you? I’m sure you’ve got a line of girls around the block waiting for a chance at you, wolfman. I’m a crap of a thing. Prey. You shouldn’t be attracted to me. Almost wish you’d torn me apart that first time, ‘cause you’ve got me all confused.” Dallas shook her head. “Dunno if I could tell him, wolfman. Sparrow are a dying race. If I was a good girl, I’d find some sparrow guy and have twenty kids with ‘im. But that life is worse, to me, than romancing death. I live with swans. They are forced into unwanted marriages all the time. I don’t want that for me.”
Unable to finish her coffee, she pushed it into his free hand and stood. “Come on.” As soon as he was on his feet, she started dragging him away from the little coffee shop. She ended up with her arm in his, steering him the two miles to the nearest park. They wound through the green surroundings until she came on a tiny, empty little clearing a good hundred yards off the paved path.
“Alright, so since my warped sense of safety doesn’t see you as perfectly deadly, I’m going to use you for my benefit. I need to learn how to handle my senses. Alain said…Well, what I understood is that it’s little like being Superman, except I haven’t learned how to fade things out and trust my senses to tell me when real danger is present….Okay, I don’t think I’m making much sense. Just…sit down.” With that, she sank immediately down to carpet of green, pulling him with her. “Be still.” Closing her eyes, Dallas stilled just like she had that day Alain had showed her. And then…there…she could smell the wolf in him that screamed danger, but above that was the scent of wood and man and his aftershave. She could hear his heart and feel the light breeze against her skin. Opening her eyes again, Dallas studied him. “Other than your wolf, nothing about you presents danger. Or…hell, I’m not even sure how to do this properly!”
