She's rather short, only standing at five foot four and weighing in at one hundred and thirteen pounds, she's much too petite to really be taken seriously at face value. Her vessel was a very unexpected one, the woman, Lolita, was actually an internet fetish/alternative model. Thus the reason that her hair is the whitest shade of platinum blonde, it was something of a trade mark of her vessel. Soft pale white skin and clear grey blue eyes are quite striking and hiding years upon years of wisdom and power.

[app]Overall Personality:[/app]
Sariel is more the type to watch and listen, she prefers to gather information on situations rather then add to problems by running her mouth off the way others might. When she speaks, it’s normally to say something profound, something that will guide whoever it is she’s talking to in the right direction. Granted, she does have these moments of mild panicky talking, where things might come out unbidden and in a rush of words. Namely whenever someone puts her in the awkward position of talking about her vessels job and photo shoots, or if something has managed to cause her distress.
Unlike most of the other angels, Sariel tries to be accepting of humans and other angels alike, she is benevolent, the kind of angel that humans wrote stories about. That isn’t to say though that she is a complete kitten of an angel, it was her job to pick the punishments for the fallen ones after all. No, should someone actually dig deep enough to uncover her anger then they should be wary, she can be wrathful and she will smite you. Sariel may not like battle, but as a commander of the armies of God, she will do what she must should she have to fight, and yes she is a force to be reckoned with.
Nothing shows more then her curiosity though, Sariel has always been fascinated by mortals and always loved to learn what she could about them, even if the chances to do so were few and far between. But now the angel hopes to learn whatever she can about them, being here on Earth. Every opportunity that presents to meet every type of person that she can is one that she’ll take, because there is something to be learned from everyone. Humans are such odd creatures, and Sariel can’t wait to decode them, so to speak.

[app]Overall History:[/app]
Sariel was created in the blink of an eye in a time that was before time itself, if you really want to get technical. She came forth after the original archangels but before most of the others angels, making her one of the older celestial beings around. Belonging to the class of the Archangels she is a strong being who was created to keep a watchful eye on the other angels, and then the human race when her Father created them. Because of this, she sometimes thinks that maybe if she had kept a closer eye on Lucifer he may not have fallen, even if that is a thought of folly. During the battle of the ’Sons of Light against the Sons of Darkness’ as humans like to put it Sariel was there standing beside her brother Michael, loyalty unwavering, helping to lead the armies of heaven.
Where humanity is concerned, she was charged as an angel of knowledge along with guidance, and even an angel of death to some. When man was still young it was she that taught them about the moon though God had not been pleased with that, she was also the one that imparted Moses with his heavenly knowledge and when the man had finally died, she stopped the reapers and lead his soul to rest herself. Sariel hadn’t actually wanted the role, but she would never go against His wishes, even so her quiet unease with being cast as an angel of death basically against her will has made her the most benevolent of the few.
Her time spent on Earth has never been for particularly long lengths of time, though she does on occasion stop into watch and guide the actual prophets in whatever God has wished. Unfortunately, her job has been rather quiet for a while, what with God having simply disappeared one day, and Joshua, God’s voice not having any more orders to give her. It was disconcerting, but something she kept to herself, instead busying herself with trying to follow what she would think where His plans, keeping the knowledge of his silence to herself as long as she could. Everyone found out eventually of course, and that was when the discourse started, angels beginning to divide into who thought their Father was dead and gone and who thought He would return. Even so, they had to go with their superiors orders to begin the apocalypse, Sariel in all her loyalty bit her lip and did as she was told, even if she didn’t agree with it.
Luckily, those Winchester boys actually managed to halt the end of the world and she breathed a sigh of relief, finally breaking against the high ups in a bold moment inspired by watching the lower ranking Castiel as he worked for the benefit of the humans, the way she wanted to but didn’t have the backbone to do. No more though, especially with Raphael making a power play for heaven, she wouldn’t have it, the host will not be controlled by someone so fundamentally malicious while she lives. Sariel wants to help humanity, wants to help her brother Castiel, and wants to stop Raphael, this is the reason she finds herself on Earth now. But, this new found need to be around the humans has left her with a strange problem. Her vessel, the lovely thing that it is, happens to be a highly well known alternative and nude fashion model, not that Sariel knew any of this until some pimple faced teen asked for her ‘autograph’ showing that he had a picture of her being very nude on his computer.

Well this was a rather peculiar situation that the angel had gotten herself into, one that most of the others would probably be none too pleased about. Sam Winchester was to be despised and killed on sight if you listened to the controlling powers of the host now and days. Raphael, she shuddered to think of him, the angel was getting a little too over zealous with his power as far as she was concerned, but voicing the opinion was more then likely to get her killed, it had already proven to be the case for more then just a few of her dear friends. Sariel supported her little brother Castiel's ideas and just what he was trying to do, but right now she would be quiet about it it did no one well to get herself killed.
But if rooting for what would be considered the opposition by some of the more traditionalist angels didn't get her at least semi black listed by the host, then the pact that she had reached with the adorable nephilium regarding the vessel of Lucifer would definitely do it. Being one of the 'primordial seven' and as such one of the oldest archangels around Sariel knew she had some serious pull with the host but agreeing to look after Sam Winchester was definitely a ballsy move by any angel. Agreeing to do it when it was a nephilium asking for help knowing full well how much Father frowned upon the half-angels? That was icing on the cake.
Sariel had agreed though because she had watched the younger Winchester's plight from afar for a very long time and had known just where his destiny was headed. The angel hadn't wanted that for anyone and felt terrible that she couldn't help guide him down a different path, so she figured she could do something for the poor boy, even if it was to just make sure he didn't break through that mental wall and turn himself into a vegetable by remembering what had happened to his soul while it was trapped with the two biggest, angriest dicks Heaven could offer. She loved her brother Michael, he had been her lead commander for eons and yes she still loved her brother Lucifer, he was family after all, misguided and headstrong but still family, but those two were a pair of dicks.
The blond had decided it best to not leave Sam on the dirty floor of a warehouse that he could potentially remember and brought him to the only place she could think of that might put him at ease. He had grown up in motel's right? She really hopped she hadn't gotten the places mixed up again, her first try around she had almost dumped him on a hay bale. It really didn't seem right and so she tried again until she dropped him in a bed, yes that looked much more likely. He was still out cold so Sariel had left for moment to make sure there was nothing particularly nasty hanging around the area only to hear his yelling for Lucifer and popped back into the room without warning.
"I will have you know I am not Lucifer, and there are no mind games," Sariel stood to her full height and walked up to him, noting with slight dismay that her vessel was probably a good foot shorter then him, "My name is Sariel, Commander of God," She started, a deeply serious look on her pretty face as she gave him her honored title, "I am not here to torture you, that is not my sort of practice," She crossed her arms like she was offended by the notion, though she wasn't quite sure what 'offended' felt like, but she had seen humans do these sort of things in these situations, "Samuel Winchester I'm here to look after you and help you achieve a better path for yourself, some might call that unproductive, but I do not. Guidance is my job and forte so to speak,"
