Samyaza is the wild card you've always dreamed of. He's cunning and manipulative, with the ability to be bluntly honest and pulling the wool over your eyes at the very same time. One could make a deal with him, but it's considered risky business. Samyaza tends to go along with his own needs in a situation before tending to others. Overall, he always has a plan in mind. Samyaza is always plotting, and he's always trying to be a step ahead of everyone else. He's clever and cautious in his ways, which has led him to good results in the past. Samyaza keeps very vague goals in order to twist them in case of a situation change. It's a method that keeps him winning even when it seems he's losing.

Despite that, Samyaza comes off as a polite figure who finds the world amusing. He likes to smile or smirk even at the slightest of things. Samyaza is a very relaxed angel with no shame in participating in a hedonistic lifestyle. He has a sore spot for being ordered around, which could have been what led him into getting into trouble in his past. He has a high interest in the workings of magic; he's also unafraid to make a deal for someone's soul.

Samyaza used to be the angel who cleaned God's Throne. By doing this, Samyaza learned and overheard a lot from Yahweh in the times of his presence. It wasn't that he was supposed to hear, but Samyaza had a little problem with eavesdropping and a disregard for rules. It was this trait that would lead him to being one of the most powerful angels in Heaven, and his clever nature didn't hurt, either. There is even a rumor running around that he figured out the explicit name of God and tried to make a deal later in his life with a woman named Istahar.

For his skill, Samyaza was assigned the leader of the group of angels called the Watchers. He and the legion of 200 angels were sent from Heaven to watch over the humans. It didn't take long for Samyaza or the others to notice the women. They were beautiful, and lust filled the Watchers' hearts. It was he who eventually convinced the Watchers to commit sin.

"And Semjâzâ, who was their leader, said unto them: 'I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin. And they all answered him and said: 'Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing.' Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it"

The Watchers produced the Nephilim, a powerful race that threatened even the strongest of archangels. Along with that, Samyaza and the other Watchers taught Mankind the secrets of Heaven. They taught them how to make weapons of war, jewelry, and things like meteorology and astronomy. This angered God, and God commanded his archangels to stop the madness.

God commanded Gabriel to cause the Nephilim to wage Civil War:
"And to Gabriel said the Lord: 'Proceed against the biters and the reprobates, and against the children of fornication: and destroy [the children of fornication and] the children of the Watchers from amongst men [and cause them to go forth]: send them one against the other that they may destroy each other in battle: for length of days shall they not have."

Then he commanded Michael to bind the Watchers, and Samyaza:

" And the Lord said unto Michael: 'Go, bind Semjâzâ and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, till the day of their judgement and of their consummation, till the judgement that is for ever and ever is consummated. In those days they shall be led off to the abyss of fire: 〈and〉 to the torment and the prison in which they shall be confined for ever. And whosoever shall be condemned and destroyed will from thenceforth be bound together with them to the end of all generations."

Though, Samyaza was clever. He faked his death to avoid being locked up in the Earth, and being cut off from Heaven's power. He did, however, feel anger for the fate of his fellow Watchers and anger that his children were slaughtered. He vowed to one day release the Watchers from their hell, but then the Great Flood came and Samyaza thought his brothers to be murdered.

Presently, Samyaza enjoys making deals like the demons. His main residence is in Jerusalem, where Samyaza impregnated a woman, and was given a Nephilistic daughter in return. Losing the mother in birth, Samyaza raised his daughter in Jerusalem and taught her everything he knew to help keep her safe. God forbid the angels ever find them.
