Ramiel stands at about 6'1" and weighs 166 lbs. He is so skinny and long that he's reminiscent of a stick. His eyes are violet, which tends to draw attention. He has brown, crazy hair that tends to be just everywhere despite his tendency to remain completely clean and organized-looking. It's a nice medium-brown color.

The first thing you'll notice is that Ramiel is a rather...eccentric...type of individual. While he is overall very friendly and polite, he is extremely awkward when trying to start and keep up conversations. The art of socializing is above and beyond this man as he rambles on and on about things people thought they'd left behind in Chemistry class. He's your #1 science nerd and bookworm, portable and used by all. Most of the time he is either making everything perfect to the last centimeter or has his nose dug deep into a book. For those who manage to keep his attention and gain his friendship he is quite loyal. Though, try as he might, in a difficult situation his most common instinct is to run. Of course, he'll try and take you with him. Just don't count on many heroic acts from this guy unless it's a reflex or total, coincidental accident.

-Another thing about Ramiel is that he loves his Egyptian rivers. Ramiel will try and rationalize everything that comes off as strange or supernatural. Someone's eyes turning black? The lighting is obviously to blame. Books flying off shelves? Why is the wind so darn strong today? My manager is a God? Well, he's a nice man and all but...Ramiel will do absolutely anything to stay in the dark and be blissfully unaware of anything he doesn't want to see.

-Ramiel can also be described as a packrat, keeping all things ranging from his first bus ticket to the books so old the ink has faded and it's illegible. This makes his general living space, whether that be a desk or corner of his room, a perfectly organized clutter. Amazingly, while others may not, Ramiel knows where everything is. This is due to his OCD so that his clutter is anything but messy. Some of the most distracting things to him are when things are out of order, or if someone is abusing a book. The easiest way to torment Ramiel is not physical abuse, but merely tying him up and ripping apart a book. This will have him crying, begging, and spilling the beans within milliseconds. He would do more for books than he would people.

Ramiel is an archangel mentioned in chapter 20 of the Book of Enoch. His name means "thunder of God" from the Hebrew elements ra'am and El, "God". He is often confused with Azazel, who is also called Râmêêl ("arrogant towards God" or "evening of God") although they are not the same angel. As mentioned in the Book of Enoch, the archangel Ramiel is the sixth leader and a Watcher or Grigori. Though, Ramiel refused to mate with humans and become a fallen angel, thus his absence in the Order.

Within the Christian and Islamic faiths, Ramiel is recognized as an official archangel, where he is often referred to as the mercy of God, or the eternal compassion of God. One'll notice that both the Christian and Islamic faiths don't consider Ramiel to be the thunder of God, so in that sense they deviate away from the Book of Enoch and it's description of Ramiel. Within the Book of IV Esdras, the holy archangel Ramiel is considered to be an angel of hope. It is also stated within this set of scripture that Ramiel has two tasks assigned to him by God, which are that he is the bearer of all divine visions, and that he is one of several angelic guides of the afterlife, escorting the souls of the faithful into heaven after they've left their earthly vessels. As far as the angel driven occult world is concerned, the archangel Ramiel takes on many different characteristics and attributes.

For example, some occult or New Age faiths believe that Ramiel is the angel that allows humans to see the truth, and he is also accredited as being the angel of joy for all women or females.
